Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,

but the Pharisees and experts in the Law thwarted God's purpose for themselves, by refusing to be baptized by him.

Then an expert in the Law got up to test him and said, "Master, what must I do to make sure of eternal life?"

At this, one of the experts in the Law said to him, "Master, when you say that, you affront us too."

And Jesus said to the Pharisees and the experts in the Law, "Is it right to cure people on the Sabbath or not?"

Do all you can to help Zenas the expert in the Law and Apollos on with their journey, and see that they have everything they need.
