And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.

And they answered Jesus, and said, We do not know. And he said to them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.

And when he had said these things all his enemies were ashamed; and all the people rejoiced on account of all the glorious works performed by him.

And they could not answer to these things.

And when they continued asking him, rising up, he said to them, Let him that has not sinned among you first cast the stone at her.

and seeing the man standing with them cured, they could not dispute it.

And Jesus seeing him, that he answered understandingly, said to him, You are not far from the kingdom of God; and no one dared to question him more.

And they dared not question him any more.

And they were silent. And he took and cured him, and dismissed him.

And they dared not question him any more.
