And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock.
When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is the one on whom seed was sown beside the road.
Those slaves went out into the streets and gathered together all they found, both evil and good; and the wedding hall was filled with dinner guests.
One basket had very good figs, like
first-ripe figs, and the other basket had very bad figs which could not be eaten due to rottenness.
