The Beatitudes

¹⁰ "Blessed are those who have been persecuted in the cause of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. ¹¹  "Blessed are you when they shall revile you, and persecute you, and say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my name's sake. ¹² "Rejoice and exult in it, because your reward was great in the heavens; for so did they persecute the prophets before you.
