The Beatitudes

¹¹ Blessed are you, when they shall reproach you, and persecute you, and say every evil thing against you, falsely, on my account. ¹² Rejoice, and leap for joy; for great is your reward in heaven: for so did they persecute the prophets who were before you. ¹³ You are the salt of the earth: but if the salt has become tasteless, by what means shall it become salt again? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trod upon by men.

Luke 6:23
