The Sermon On The Mount: Salt And Light

¹³ "Ye are the salt of the earth; but, if the salt become tasteless, with what shall it be salted? It is henceforth good for nothing, except, when cast without, to be trodden under foot by men. ¹⁴  "Ye are the light of the world: a city, set upon a hill, cannot he hid. ¹⁵ Nor do they light a lamp, and put it under the measure, but on the lamp-stand; and it gives light to all who are in the house.
