if the divine Being has patiently bore with those objects of his displeasure, that had been working out their own destruction, why may he not reveal himself to make them feel his vindictive power,

who in the. end will be ruin'd, who place their religion in sensuality, their glory in that which is their shame, and fix their thoughts upon this earth.

in flaming fire, to take vengeance on those, who know not God, and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

for now is the time when God will begin his judgments with his own church. now if he begins with us, what will the conclusion be to those who do not obey the divine gospel?

and whosoever was not found written in the book of life, was cast into the lake of fire.
