Matthew 7:16

You will know them by their fruit. Grapes aren't gathered from thorns, or figs from thistles, are they?

"Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree rotten and its fruit rotten, because a tree is known by its fruit.

My brothers, a fig tree cannot produce olives, nor a grapevine figs, can it? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water.

So by their fruit you will know them."

Whatever these people do not understand, they slander. Like irrational animals, they are destroyed by the very things they know by instinct.
