Hear, all you peoples! Listen, O earth, and all who are in it! Let the Sovereign Lord Jehovah (YHWH) be a witness against you, Jehovah from his Holy Temple.

Be quiet, Samuel told Saul, Let me tell you what Jehovah told me last night. Speak, Saul replied.

Listen, give heed and do not be haughty (arrogant). Jehovah has spoken.

Hear this word Jehovah spoke against you, O children of Israel! It is against the whole family that I brought out of the land of Egypt:

Contend

I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day that you will soon utterly perish from off the land you possess the other side of the Jordan. You will not prolong your days upon it, but will be destroyed.

Give ear, O [physical] heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.

([Asaph]) The Almighty Divine One, God of Gods, Jehovah has spoken. He has summoned the earth from where the sun rises to where it sets.

Listen, heaven, and pay attention, earth! Jehovah (YHWH) has spoken: I raised my children and helped them grow, but they have rebelled against me.

O land, land, land! Hear the word of Jehovah.

Son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel and say: 'O mountains of Israel, hear the word of Jehovah.

He answered: I tell you if these remain quiet the stones will cry out!

Before

The mountains melt under him. The valleys split like wax before the fire! Like waters poured down a steep place.

All who are proud will be humbled. Jehovah of Hosts will have his day against all who are arrogant and conceited.

Let

Again he said: Prophesy over these bones and say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the word of Jehovah.
