They brought Jesus to the place which was known as Golgotha- -a name which means 'Place of a Skull.'

When they had reached the place called 'The Skull,' there they crucified Jesus and the criminals, one on the right, and one on the left.

And he went out, carrying his cross himself, to the place which is named from a scull, or, in Hebrew, Golgotha.
