By [having] faith, Rahab the prostitute was not destroyed along with the disobedient [inhabitants of Jericho] because she welcomed the [twelve] spies in peace.

And, seeing it, they were all murmuring, saying, "He went in to be guest with a sinful man!" And, standing, Zacchaeus said to the Lord, "Behold, the half of my goods, Lord, I give to the poor; and, if I wrongfully exacted anything from any one, I restore four-fold." And Jesus said to him, "To-day salvation came to this house, inasmuch as he also is a son of Abraham; for the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which is lost."
