She answered him, “I am the daughter of Bethuel son of Milcah, whom she bore to Nahor.”
Then I asked her: Whose daughter are you? She responded, ‘The daughter of Bethuel son of Nahor, whom Milcah bore to him.’ So I put the ring on her nose
“Do you know Laban grandson of Nahor?” Jacob asked them.
They answered, “We know him.”

Then I took your ancestor Abraham from the other side of the Euphrates River and led him through the entire land of Canaan. I multiplied his descendants, and gave him his son Isaac.
