When the heaven was shut up three years and six months, how the famine was great over all the land; and Elijah was sent to none of them, except to a widow woman in Sarepta of Sidon. And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of the prophet Elisha; and none of them were cleansed except Naaman the Syrian. And all in the synagogue, hearing these things, were filled with wrath. And rising up, they cast Him out of the city, and were leading Him to the brink of the mountain on which their city was built, to hurl Him down; and He having passed through the midst of them went away.
