and the Valley of Achor a place for cattle to lie down,
for My people who have sought Me.

The land mourns and withers;
Lebanon is ashamed and decayed.
Sharon is like a desert;
Bashan and Carmel shake off their leaves.

It will blossom abundantly
and will also rejoice with joy and singing.
The glory of Lebanon will be given to it,
the splendor of Carmel and Sharon.
They will see the glory of the Lord,

Shitrai the Sharonite was in charge of the herds that grazed in Sharon, while
Shaphat son of Adlai was in charge of the herds in the valleys.


They lived in Gilead, in Bashan and its towns, and throughout the pasturelands of Sharon.


So all who lived in Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.


Sharon will be a pasture for flocks,
and the Valley of Achor a place for cattle to lie down,
for My people who have sought Me.
