and on the day on which Lot went out from Sodom, fire and brimstone rained from heaven and destroyed them all.





Truly I say unto you, It will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city.

and as Isaiah has before spoken; Unless the Lord of Sabaoth left to us a seed, we would have become as Sodom, and would have been made like unto Gomorrah:
