Abram said to the king of Sodom, “I have sworn to the Lord

God Most High,

possessor of heaven and earth,

Hear the voice of my supplications when I cry to You for help,
When I lift up my hands toward Your holy sanctuary.

So I will bless You as long as I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name.

Lift up your hands to the sanctuary

And bless the Lord.

May my prayer be counted as incense before You;
The lifting up of my hands as the evening offering.

We lift up our heart and hands
Toward God in heaven;

Therefore I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and dissension.

Bowed

Then the man bowed low and worshiped the Lord.

So the people believed; and when they heard that the Lord

was concerned about the sons of Israel and that He had seen their affliction, then they bowed low and worshiped.

you shall say, ‘It is a Passover sacrifice to the Lord

who passed over the houses of the sons of Israel in Egypt when He smote the Egyptians, but spared our homes.’” And the people bowed low and worshiped.

Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell down before the Lord, worshiping the Lord.

And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will.”

And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,
