Numbers 24:19

Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion, and shall destroy him that remaineth of the city.

and Jesus came, and said to them, all power has been given me in heaven and in earth.

for he must reign, "till God has cast all his enemies under his feet."

which he exerted in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at the head of his heavenly kingdom,

that at the name of Jesus both angels and men, the living and the dead, should pay their adorations,

but to the son he saith, "God is thy throne for ever and ever; the sceptre of thy kingdom is a sceptre of equity.

who being ascended into heaven, is seated at the right hand of God, where angels, dominations, and potentates have been subjected to him.

on the mantle about his thigh was this inscription, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

and these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

a nobleman, said he, was going to travel to a foreign country, in order to have his kingdom confirm'd to him at his return.
