The Second Census

⁵² And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying, ⁵³ “Among these the land shall be divided for an inheritance according to the number of names. ⁵⁴ To those that are many thou shalt give more inheritance, and to those that are few thou shalt give less inheritance; to each one shall his inheritance be given according to those that were numbered of him.

Joshua 11:23

So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that the LORD had said unto Moses; and Joshua gave it for an inheritance unto Israel according to their divisions by their tribes. And the land rested from war.
