and continuing day by day with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they partook of food with gladness and simplicity of mind,

and there was great joy in that city.

and how shall they preach unless they have been sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of those that publish good news of peace, that publish good news of good things.

But this, that he ascended, what is it but that he first descended into the lower parts of the earth?

And

for not he that commends himself is approved, but he whom the Lord commends.

And we beseech you, brothers, to know those who labor among you, and preside over you in the Lord and admonish you,

Obey your guides and be in subjection; for they watch for your souls as having to give an account, that they may do this with joy and not with grief; for this is unprofitable for you.

Hold such in reputation

and they bestowed on us many rewards, and when we left supplied us with things that we needed.

and refreshed my spirit and yours. Know therefore such.

Let the elders who rule well be accounted worthy of a double compensation, especially those who labor in word and teaching.
