Lay not wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; spoil not his resting place:

and they took counsel to seize Jesus by stratagem, and kill him.

and their design was made known to Saul. And they watched the gates day and night to kill him;

But a son of Paul's sister hearing of this lying in wait, went and entering into the fortress told Paul.

asking favor against him, that he would send for him to Jerusalem, having provided an ambuscade to kill him on the way.
