Praise To God For His Work And Commands

1 Praise ye Yah! I will give thanks unto Yahweh, with a whole heart, in the circle of the upright and the assembly.

1 Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

1 Hallelujah!(a)I will praise the Lord with all my heartin the assembly of the upright and in the congregation.(A)

1 Hallelujah! I will give thanks to the LORD with all of my heart in the assembled congregation of the upright.

2 Great are the works of Yahweh, sought out, by all who find pleasure therein.

2 The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

2 (C)Great are the works of the Lord;They are (c)(D)studied by all who delight in them.

2 The Lord’s works are great,studied by all who delight in them.(B)

2 Great are the acts of the LORD; they are within reach of all who desire them.

3 Honourable and majestic, is his doing, and, his righteousness, standeth for aye.

3 His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

3 (d)(E)Splendid and majestic is His work,And (F)His righteousness endures forever.

3 All that He does is splendid and majestic;(C)His righteousness endures forever.(D)

3 Splendid and glorious are his awesome deeds, and his righteousness endures forever.

4 A memorial, hath he made by his wonders, Gracious and compassionate, is Yahweh.

4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.

4 He has caused His wonderful works to be remembered.(E)The Lord is gracious and compassionate.(F)

4 He is remembered for his awesome deeds; the LORD is gracious and compassionate.

5 Food, hath he given to them who revere him, He will remember, age-abidingly, his covenant.

5 He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

5 He has provided food for those who fear Him;(G)He remembers His covenant forever.(H)

5 He prepares food for those who fear him; he is ever mindful of his covenant.

6 The might of his works, hath he declared to his people, that he may give them the inheritance of the nations.

6 He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.

6 He has made known to His people the power of His works,In giving them the heritage of the nations.

6 He has shown His people the power of His worksby giving them the inheritance of the nations.(I)

6 He revealed his mighty deeds to his people by giving them a country of their own.

7 The works of his hands, are faithful and just, Firm are all his precepts;

7 The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.

7 The works of His hands are (i)(J)truth and justice;All His precepts (K)are (j)sure.

7 The works of His hands are truth and justice;all His instructions are trustworthy.(J)

7 Whatever he does is reliable and just, and all his precepts are trustworthy,

8 Upheld to futurity, to times age-abiding, done in faithfulness and equity.

8 They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.

8 They are (L)upheld forever and ever;They are performed in (k)(M)truth and uprightness.

8 They are established forever and ever,enacted in truth and in what is right.(K)

8 sustained through all eternity, and fashioned in both truth and righteousness.

9 Ransom, hath he sent to his people, He hath commanded, to times age-abiding, his covenant, Holy and reverend, is his Name.

9 He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.

10 The beginning of wisdom, is the reverence of Yahweh, Good discretion, have all that do them, His praise, endureth for aye.

10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

10 The (n)(P)fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;A (Q)good understanding have all those who (o)do His commandments;His (R)praise endures forever.

10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;(N)all who follow His instructions(b) have good insight.(O)His praise endures forever.(P)

10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; sound understanding belongs to those who practice it. Praise of God endures forever.
