Psalm 120:2

Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips and from a deceitful tongue.

False witnesses rose up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.

Thy tongue devises wickedness like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.

Do not hold thy peace, O God of my praise;

Deliver me, O LORD, from the evil man; preserve me from the man of violence.

Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but the workers of the truth are his delight.

Now the princes of the priests and the elders and all the council sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;
