Psalm 120:2

"Deliver my life, O Yahweh, from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue."

Violent witnesses rise up; they ask me [concerning] what I do not know.

Your tongue plans destruction, like a sharp razor, working deceit.

O God of my praise, do not keep silent,

Rescue me, O Yahweh, from evil men. Preserve me from violent men,

An abomination of Yahweh are lips of deceit, but they who act faithfully [are] his delight.

Now the chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were looking for false testimony against Jesus in order that they could put him to death.
