I said to Jehovah: You are Jehovah my God. Without you, I have nothing good.

I trust you, O Jehovah. I said: You are my God.

I will say to Jehovah: You are my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.

Jehovah is my portion; I have promised to keep your words.

I call out to you, O Jehovah. I say: You are my refuge, my own inheritance in this world of the living.

I said to myself, Jehovah is my heritage. For this reason I will hope in him.

I will bring the third part into the fire. I will refine them, as silver is refined, and I will test them as gold is tested. They will call on my name, and I will hear them. I will say: 'It is my people!' They will say: 'Jehovah is my God!'

Hear

Hear O Jehovah when I cry with my voice. Be gracious to me and answer me.

([Psalm of David]) O Jehovah, I call to you. O my rock, do not turn a deaf ear to me. If you remain silent, I will be like those who go down to the pit (grave).

([Psalm of David]) Listen to my prayer, O God. Do not hide from my plea for favor.
