Psalm 144:7

Send thine hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children;

For the choir director; according to Shoshannim. A Psalm of David.
Save me, O God,
For the waters have threatened my life.

The floods have lifted up, O Lord,
The floods have lifted up their voice,
The floods lift up their pounding waves.

And the serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, so that he might cause her to be swept away with the flood.

And he *said to me, “The waters which you saw where the harlot sits, are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues.

Rescue me and deliver me out of the hand of aliens,
Whose mouth speaks deceit
And whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.

For strangers have risen against me
And violent men have sought my life;
They have not set God before them.

The

descendants of Israel separated themselves from all foreigners, and stood and confessed their sins and the iniquities of their fathers.

Judah has dealt treacherously, and an abomination has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah has profaned the sanctuary of the Lord

which He loves and has married the daughter of a foreign god.
