1 LORD, who may stay in your tent? Who may dwell on your holy mountain?

2 Even he that leadeth an uncorrupt life, and doeth the thing which is right, and speaketh the truth from his heart.

2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.

2 He who (C)walks with integrity, and works righteousness,And (D)speaks truth in his heart.

2 The one who lives honestly, practices righteousness,and acknowledges the truth in his heart(C)

2 The one who lives with integrity, who does righteous deeds, and who speaks truth to himself.

3 He that hath used no deceit in his tongue, nor done evil to his neighbour, and hath not slandered his neighbours.

3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.

3 He (E)does not slander (b)with his tongue,Nor (F)does evil to his neighbor,Nor (G)takes up a reproach against his friend;

3 who does not slander with his tongue,(D)who does not harm his friendor discredit his neighbor,(E)

3 The one who does not slander with his tongue, who does no evil to his neighbor, and who does not destroy his friend's reputation.

4 He that sitteth not by himself, but is lowly in his own eyes, and maketh much of them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth unto his neighbour, and disappointeth him not, though it were to his own hindrance.

4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.

4 In (c)whose eyes a reprobate is despised,But (d)who (H)honors those who fear the Lord;He (I)swears to his own hurt and does not change;

4 who despises the one rejected by the Lord(a)but honors those who fear the Lord,(F)who keeps his word whatever the cost,(G)

4 The one who despises those who are utterly wicked, but who honors the one who fears the LORD, who keeps his word even when it hurts and does not change,

5 He that hath not given his money upon usury, nor taken reward against the innocent. Whoso doeth these things shall never fall.

5 He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

5 He (J)does not put out his money (e)at interest,Nor (K)does he take a bribe against the innocent.(L)He who does these things will never be shaken.

5 who does not lend his money at interest(H)or take a bribe against the innocent(I)the one who does these things will never be moved.(J)

5 who does not loan his money with interest, and who does not take a bribe against those who are innocent. The one who does these things will stand firm forever. A special Davidic Psalm.
