Arise, LORD, and help me, O my God: for thou smitest all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.

They have opened their mouths wide upon me, and smitten me upon the cheek despitefully, they have eased themselves through mine adversity.

Break their teeth, O God, in their mouths; smite the jawbones of the lions, O LORD.

I brake the jaws of the unrighteous, and plucked the spoil out of their teeth.

Stand up, O LORD, in thy wrath, lift up thyself, because of the indignation of mine enemies; arise up for me in the judgment that thou hast commanded.

Arise, O LORD God, and lift up thine hand; forget not the poor.

Turn thee, O LORD, and deliver my soul; O save me for thy mercies' sake.

"Now, for the comfortless troubles' sake of the needy, and because of the deep sighing of the poor, I will arise," saith the LORD, "and will help them, and set them at rest."

Awake, and stand up to judge my quarrel; avenge thou my cause, my God and my LORD.

Arise, LORD! Why sleepest thou? Awake, and be not absent from us forever.

Stand up, O LORD God of Hosts, thou God of Israel, to visit all Heathen; be not merciful unto them that offend of malicious wickedness. Selah.

Why withdrawest thou thy hand? Why pluckest thou not thy righthand out of thy bosom, to consume thy enemies?

yea, when God ariseth to give judgment, and to help all them that be in adversity upon earth. Selah.

Wake up, wake up, and be strong: O thou arm of the LORD: wake up, like as in times past, ever, and since the world began.

He offereth his cheek to the smiter; he will be content with reproves.

Woe unto him, that sayeth unto a piece of wood, "Arise," and to a dumb stone, "Stand up." For what instruction may such one give? Behold, it is laid over with gold and silver, and there is no breath in it.
