Psalm 37:2

For they will quickly dry up like grass, and wither away like plants.

Then I entered the precincts of God's temple, and understood the destiny of the wicked.

You bring their lives to an end and they "fall asleep." In the morning they are like the grass that sprouts up;

When the wicked sprout up like grass, and all the evildoers glisten, it is so that they may be annihilated.

He grows up like a flower and then withers away; he flees like a shadow, and does not remain.

that the elation of the wicked is brief, the joy of the godless lasts but a moment.

I have seen ruthless evil men growing in influence, like a green tree grows in its native soil.

May all who hate Zion be humiliated and turned back!

But the rich person's pride should be in his humiliation, because he will pass away like a wildflower in the meadow.

For all flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of the grass; the grass withers and the flower falls off,
