                                    1 Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me; For my soul taketh refuge in thee: Yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I take refuge, Until these calamities be overpast.

A (b)Mikhtam of David, (c)when he fled from Saul in the cave.Be gracious to me, O God, be gracious to me,For my soul (A)takes refuge in You;And in the (B)shadow of Your wings I will take refugeUntil destruction (C)passes by.                                

                                    1 {To the chief Musician, Altaschith, Michtam of David, when he fled from Saul in the cave.} Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.                                

                                    1 For the choir director: “Do Not Destroy.”(a) A Davidic Miktam. When he fled before Saul into the cave.(A)Be gracious to me, God, be gracious to me,for I take refuge in You.I will seek refuge in the shadow of Your wingsuntil danger passes.(B)                                

                                    1 Have mercy on me, God, have mercy, for in you I have placed my trust. Even in the shadow of your wings will I find my refuge until this calamity passes.
