A Prayer To God The Rock Of Refuge

11 In You, O LORD, I have taken refuge; Let me never be ashamed.

11 In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.

11 Lord, I seek refuge in You; never let me be disgraced.

11 In you, LORD, I take refuge; let me never be humiliated.

11 In You, O Lord, do I put my trust and confidently take refuge; let me never be put to shame or confusion!

22 In Your righteousness deliver me and rescue me; Incline Your ear to me and save me.

22 Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me.

22 In Your justice, rescue and deliver me; listen closely to me and save me.

22 Rescue and deliver me, because you are righteous. Turn your ear to me and save me.

22 Deliver me in Your righteousness and cause me to escape; bow down Your ear to me and save me!

33 Be to me a rock of habitation to which I may continually come; You have given commandment to save me, For You are my rock and my fortress.

33 Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.

33 Be a rock of refuge for me, where I can always go. Give the command to save me, for You are my rock and fortress.

33 Be my sheltering refuge where I may go continuously; command my deliverance for you are my rock and fortress.

33 Be to me a rock of refuge in which to dwell, and a sheltering stronghold to which I may continually resort, which You have appointed to save me, for You are my Rock and my Fortress.

44 Rescue me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, Out of the grasp of the wrongdoer and ruthless man,

44 Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.

44 Deliver me, my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the grasp of the unjust and oppressive.

44 My God, deliver me from the power of the wicked and the grasp of ruthless practicers of evil.

44 Rescue me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the grasp of the unrighteous and ruthless man.

55 For You are my hope; O Lord GOD, You are my confidence from my youth.

55 For thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: thou art my trust from my youth.

55 For You are my hope, Lord God , my confidence from my youth.

55 For you are my hope, Lord GOD, my security since I was young.

55 For You are my hope; O Lord God, You are my trust from my youth and the source of my confidence.

66 By You I have been sustained from my birth; You are He who took me from my mother's womb; My praise is continually of You.

66 By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mother's bowels: my praise shall be continually of thee.

66 I have leaned on You from birth; You took me from my mother's womb. My praise is always about You.

66 I depended on you since birth, when you brought me from my mother's womb; I praise you continuously.

66 Upon You have I leaned and relied from birth; You are He Who took me from my mother's womb and You have been my benefactor from that day. My praise is continually of You.

77 I have become a marvel to many, For You are my strong refuge.

77 I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge.

77 I have become an ominous sign to many, but You are my strong refuge.

77 I have become an example to many that you are my strong refuge.

77 I am as a wonder and surprise to many, but You are my strong refuge.

88 My mouth is filled with Your praise And with Your glory all day long.

88 Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day.

88 My mouth is full of praise and honor to You all day long.

88 My mouth is filled with your praise and your splendor daily.

88 My mouth shall be filled with Your praise and with Your honor all the day.

99 Do not cast me off in the time of old age; Do not forsake me when my strength fails.

99 Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.

99 Don't discard me in my old age: as my strength fails, do not abandon me.

99 Don't throw me away when I am old; do not abandon me when my strength fails.

99 Cast me not off nor send me away in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength is spent and my powers fail.

1010 For my enemies have spoken against me; And those who watch for my life have consulted together,

1010 For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together,

1010 For my enemies talk about me, and those who spy on me plot together,

1010 For my enemies talk against me; those who seek to kill me plot together

1010 For my enemies talk against me; those who watch for my life consult together,

1111 Saying, "God has forsaken him; Pursue and seize him, for there is no one to deliver."

1111 Saying, God hath forsaken him: persecute and take him; for there is none to deliver him.

1111 saying, "God has abandoned him; chase him and catch him, for there is no one to rescue [him]."

1111 and say, "God has abandoned him. Run after him and seize him, because there's no deliverer."

1111 Saying, God has forsaken him; pursue and persecute and take him, for there is none to deliver him.

1212 O God, do not be far from me; O my God, hasten to my help!

1212 O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help.

1212 God, do not be far from me; my God, hurry to help me.

1212 God, do not be distant from me. My God, come quickly to help me.

1212 O God, be not far from me! O my God, make haste to help me!

1313 Let those who are adversaries of my soul be ashamed and consumed; Let them be covered with reproach and dishonor, who seek to injure me.

1313 Let them be confounded and consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and dishonour that seek my hurt.

1313 May my adversaries be disgraced and confounded; may those who seek my harm be covered with disgrace and humiliation.

1313 Let my adversaries be ashamed and consumed; let those who seek my destruction be covered with scorn and disgrace.

1313 Let them be put to shame and consumed who are adversaries to my life; let them be covered with reproach, scorn, and dishonor who seek and require my hurt.

1414 But as for me, I will hope continually, And will praise You yet more and more.

1414 But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.

1414 But I will hope continually and will praise You more and more.

1414 As for me, I will hope continuously and will praise you more and more.

1414 But I will hope continually, and will praise You yet more and more.

1515 My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness And of Your salvation all day long; For I do not know the sum of them.

1515 My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.

1515 My mouth will tell about Your righteousness and Your salvation all day long, though I cannot sum them up.

1515 I will declare your righteousness and your salvation every day, though I do not fully understand what the outcome will be.

1515 My mouth shall tell of Your righteous acts and of Your deeds of salvation all the day, for their number is more than I know.

1616 I will come with the mighty deeds of the Lord GOD; I will make mention of Your righteousness, Yours alone.

1616 I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.

1616 I come because of the mighty acts of the Lord God ; I will proclaim Your righteousness, Yours alone.

1616 Lord GOD, I will come in the power of your mighty acts, remembering your righteousness yours alone.

1616 I will come in the strength and with the mighty acts of the Lord God; I will mention and praise Your righteousness, even Yours alone.

1717 O God, You have taught me from my youth, And I still declare Your wondrous deeds.

1717 O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.

1717 God, You have taught me from my youth, and I still proclaim Your wonderful works.

1717 God, you taught me from my youth, so I am still declaring your awesome deeds.

1717 O God, You have taught me from my youth, and hitherto have I declared Your wondrous works.

1818 And even when I am old and gray, O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to all who are to come.

1818 Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.

1818 Even when I am old and gray, God, do not abandon me. Then I will proclaim Your power to [another] generation, Your strength to all who are to come.

1818 Also, when I reach old age and have gray hair, God, do not forsake me, until I have declared your power to this generation and your might to the next one.

1818 Yes, even when I am old and gray-headed, O God, forsake me not, [but keep me alive] until I have declared Your mighty strength to [this] generation, and Your might and power to all that are to come.

1919 For Your righteousness, O God, reaches to the heavens, You who have done great things; O God, who is like You?

1919 Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things: O God, who is like unto thee!

1919 Your righteousness reaches heaven, God, You who have done great things; God, who is like You?

1919 Your many righteous deeds, God, are great,

1919 Your righteousness also, O God, is very high [reaching to the heavens], You Who have done great things; O God, who is like You, or who is Your equal?

2020 You who have shown me many troubles and distresses Will revive me again, And will bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

2020 Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

2020 You caused me to experience many troubles and misfortunes, but You will revive me again. You will bring me up again, even from the depths of the earth.

2020 God, who can compare to you, who caused me to experience troubles that were numerous and disastrous? You will return to revive me and lift me up from the depths of the earth.

2020 You Who have shown us [all] troubles great and sore will quicken us again and will bring us up again from the depths of the earth.

2121 May You increase my greatness And turn to comfort me.

2121 Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.

2121 You will increase my honor and comfort me once again.

2121 You will increase my honor and comfort me once again.

2121 Increase my greatness (my honor) and turn and comfort me.

2222 I will also praise You with a harp, Even Your truth, O my God; To You I will sing praises with the lyre, O Holy One of Israel.

2222 I will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.

2222 Therefore, with a lute I will praise You for Your faithfulness, my God; I will sing to You with a harp, Holy One of Israel.

2222 I also will praise you with the harp; because of your faithfulness, my God, I will praise you with the lyre Holy One of Israel.

2222 I will also praise You with the harp, even Your truth and faithfulness, O my God; unto You will I sing praises with the lyre, O Holy One of Israel.

2323 My lips will shout for joy when I sing praises to You; And my soul, which You have redeemed.

2323 My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.

2323 My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to You, because You have redeemed me.

2323 My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to you, whose life you have redeemed.

2323 My lips shall shout for joy when I sing praises to You, and my inner being, which You have redeemed.

2424 My tongue also will utter Your righteousness all day long; For they are ashamed, for they are humiliated who seek my hurt.

2424 My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt.

2424 Therefore, my tongue will proclaim Your righteousness all day long, for those who seek my harm will be disgraced and confounded.

2424 Moreover, my tongue will speak all day about your justice; for those who seek my destruction will be utterly humiliated. Solomonic

2424 My tongue also shall talk of Your righteousness all the day long; for they are put to shame, for they are confounded, who seek and demand my hurt.
