Treasury of Scripture Knowledge
And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.
Then I looked, and behold, a
white cloud, and sitting on the cloud was one like a son of man, having a golden crown on His head and a sharp sickle in His hand.
these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven, and the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a trumpet speaking with me, said, “ Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things.”
I looked, and behold, an
ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following with him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by the wild beasts of the earth.
After these things I looked, and
the temple of the tabernacle of testimony in heaven was opened,
The word of the Lord came to me saying, “What do you see,
Jeremiah?” And I said, “I see a rod of an almond tree.”
As I looked, behold, a
storm wind was coming from the north, a great cloud with fire flashing forth continually and a bright light around it, and in its midst something like glowing metal in the midst of the fire.
Then I looked, and behold, a
hand was extended to me; and lo, a scroll was in it.
Then He brought me to the entrance of the court, and when I looked, behold, a hole in the wall.
Then I looked, and behold, in the
expanse that was over the heads of the cherubim something like a sapphire stone, in appearance resembling a throne, appeared above them.
Then He brought me by way of the
north gate to the front of the house; and I looked, and behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord, and I fell on my face.
Then I, Daniel, looked and behold, two others were standing, one on this bank of the river and the other on that bank of the river.
He said, “What do you see, Amos?” And
I said, “A basket of summer fruit.” Then the Lord said to me, “The end has come for My people Israel. I will spare them no longer.
He said to me, “
What do you see?” And I said, “I see, and behold, a lampstand all of gold with its bowl on the top of it, and its seven lamps on it with seven spouts belonging to each of the lamps which are on the top of it;
and one of the elders *said to me, “Stop weeping; behold, the
Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome so as to open the book and its seven seals.”
After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from
every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands;
And I heard the
number of those who were sealed, one hundred and forty-four thousand sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel:
He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name.
Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees until we have sealed the bond-servants of our God on their foreheads.”
And he causes all,
the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead,
“And I say to you, everyone who confesses Me before men, the Son of Man will confess him also before the angels of God;
