A Description Of The New Jerusalem
10 So he carried me off under the power of the Spirit to a great, high mountain and showed me Jerusalem, the holy city, coming down out of heaven from God; 11 and it continued to retain the glory of God. The luster of it was like a very precious stone, like jasper, clear as crystal. 12 It had a great, high wall, with twelve huge gates, and twelve angels in charge of the gates, which had inscribed upon them the names of the twelve tribes of Israel.
