And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
“ Write in a book what you see, and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.”
John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace, from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne,
Out from the throne come
flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder. And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God;
And I saw
between the throne (with the four living creatures) and the elders a Lamb standing, as if slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth.
For of His
fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace.
For He whom God has
sent speaks the words of God; for He gives the Spirit without measure.
the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “ If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink.
“When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify about Me,
And when He had said this, He breathed on them and *said to them,
“Receive the Holy Spirit.
Therefore having been exalted
to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has poured forth this which you both see and hear.
1 Peter 1:11
seeking to know what person or time the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating as He predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories to follow.
In His right hand He held
seven stars, and out of His mouth came a sharp two-edged sword; and His face was like the sun shining in its strength.
“To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: The One who holds
the seven stars in His right hand, the One who walks among the seven golden lampstands, says this:
for this son of mine was dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been found.’ And they began to celebrate.
were dead in your trespasses and sins,
When you were
dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions,

But she who
gives herself to wanton pleasure is dead even while she lives.
For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also
faith without works is dead.
These are the men who are
hidden reefs in your love feasts when they feast with you without fear, caring for themselves; clouds without water, carried along by winds; autumn trees without fruit, doubly dead, uprooted;
