and swore by him that lives from age to age, who created the heaven and the things that are in it, and the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, That time should no longer intervene,

God, who made the world, and all things that are in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, dwells not in temples made with hands;

and enlighten all men with respect to the plan of the mystery, which was concealed from the ages in God, who created all things;

for by him were all things created, things in heaven and things in earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or lordships, or principalities, or authorities; all things were created by him, and for him:

whom he has appointed heir of all things, by whom, also, he made the ages;
