The Great Crowd Before The Throne

9 After these things I looked, and this is what I saw: a vast multitude which no one could count, [gathered] from every nation and from all the tribes and peoples and languages [of the earth], standing before the throne and before the Lamb (Christ), dressed in white robes, with (d)palm branches in their hands;

9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from (N)every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing (O)before the throne and (P)before the Lamb, clothed in (Q)white robes, and (R)palm branches were in their hands;

9 After this I looked, and there was a vast multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language, which no one could number, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were robed in white with palm branches in their hands.

9 After these things, I looked, and there was a crowd so large that no one was able to count it! They were from every nation, tribe, people, and language. They were standing in front of the throne and the lamb and were wearing white robes, with palm branches in their hands.

10 and in a loud voice they cried out, saying,“Salvation [belongs] to our God who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb [our salvation is the Trinity’s to give, and to God the Trinity we owe our deliverance].”

10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

10 and they cry out with a loud voice, saying,(S)Salvation to our God (T)who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”

10 And they cried out in a loud voice:Salvation belongs to our God,who is seated on the throne,and to the Lamb!

10 They cried out in a loud voice, "Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the lamb!"

11 And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the [twenty-four] elders and the four living creatures; and they fell to their faces before the throne and worshiped God,

11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,

11 And all the angels were standing (U)around the throne and around (V)the elders and the (W)four living creatures; and they (X)fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,

11 All the angels stood around the throne, the elders, and the four living creatures, and they fell facedown before the throne and worshiped God,

11 All the angels stood around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell on their faces in front of the throne and worshipped God,

12 saying,“Amen! Blessing and glory and majesty and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might belong to our God forever and ever. Amen.”

12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.

12 saying,(Y)Amen, (Z)blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever. (AA)Amen.”

12 saying:Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdomand thanksgiving and honorand power and strengthbe to our God forever and ever. Amen.

12 saying, "Amen! Praise, glory, wisdom, thanks, honor, power, and strength be to our God forever and ever! Amen!"

13 Then one of the elders responded, saying to me, “These who are dressed in the long white robes—who are they, and from where did they come?”

13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?

13 Then one of the elders (AB)answered, saying to me, “These who are clothed in the (AC)white robes, who are they, and where have they come from?”

13 Then one of the elders asked me, “Who are these people robed in white, and where did they come from?”

13 "Who are these people wearing white robes," one of the elders asked me, "and where did they come from?"

14 I said to him, “My lord, you know [the answer].” And he said to me, “These are the people who come out of the great tribulation (persecution), and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb [because of His atoning sacrifice].(C)

14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

14 I (a)said to him, “My lord, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the (AD)great tribulation, and they have (AE)washed their robes and made them (AF)white in the (AG)blood of the Lamb.

14 I said to him, “Sir,(c) you know.”Then he told me:These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation.They washed their robes and made them white(B)in the blood of the Lamb.

14 I told him, "Sir, you know."

15 For this reason, they are [standing] before the throne of God; and they serve Him [in worship] day and night in His temple; and He who sits on the throne will (e)spread His tabernacle over them and shelter and protect them [with His presence].(D)

15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

15 For this reason, they are (AH)before the throne of God; and they (AI)serve Him day and night in His (b)(AJ)temple; and (AK)He who sits on the throne will spread His (AL)tabernacle over them.

15 For this reason they are before the throne of God,and they serve Him day and night in His sanctuary.The One seated on the throne will shelter(d) them:

15 Then he told me, "These are the people who are coming out of the terrible suffering. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the lamb. That is why: "They are in front of the throne of God and worship him night and day in his Temple. The one who sits on the throne will shelter them.

16 They will hunger no longer, nor thirst anymore; nor will the sun (f)beat down on them, nor any [scorching] heat;(E)

16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.

16 (AM)They will hunger no longer, nor thirst anymore; nor will the sun (c)beat down on them, nor any heat;

16 They will no longer hunger;they will no longer thirst;the sun will no longer strike them,nor will any heat.(C)

16 They will never be hungry or thirsty again. Neither the sun nor its heat will ever beat down on them,

17 for the Lamb who is in the center of the throne will be their Shepherd, and He will guide them to springs of the waters of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes [giving them eternal comfort].”(F)

17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

17 for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their (AN)shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the (d)(AO)water of life; and (AP)God will wipe every tear from their eyes.”

17 For the Lamb who is at the center of the thronewill shepherd them;(D)He will guide them to springs of living waters,(E)and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.(F)

17 because the lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd. He will lead them to springs filled with the water of life, and God will wipe every tear from their eyes."
