I EXHORT you, therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice; holy, well pleasing to God, your reasonable service;

do you also yourselves be built up living stones, a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices well pleasing to God through Jesus Christ,

neither present your members as instruments of wickedness to sin, but present yourselves to God as living from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.

Know you not that to whom you present yourselves servants for obedience, his servants you are whom you obey, whether of sin in death or of obedience in righteousness?

I speak after the manner of men on account of the weakness of your flesh. For as you presented your members servants to impurity and to wickedness in wickedness, so now present your members servants to righteousness in sanctification.

I THEREFORE, the prisoner of the Lord, exhort you to walk worthily of the call with which you were called,

I exhort you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfected in the same mind and the same will.

I PAUL also exhort you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in appearance am humble among you, but being absent am bold towards you;

Therefore, I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she has loved much; but he to whom little is forgiven, loves little.

and that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he before prepared for glory,

and be not conformed to this life, but be transformed by the renewing of the mind, that you may prove what is the will of God which is good and well-pleasing and perfect.

Remove the old leaven, that you may be a new mass, as you are unleavened; for Christ our passover was also sacrificed for us.

Food for the stomach, and the stomach for food; but God will destroy both it and them. And the body is not for fornication but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body;

Wherefore we faint not, but if our outward man is destroyed our inward man is renewed day by day.

But if any widow has children or relatives, let them learn first to support their family and to make returns to their parents, for this is acceptable in the sight of God.

but when the goodness and philanthropy of the Saviour our God appeared,

Through him, therefore, let us offer the sacrifice of praise continually to God, that is, the fruit of lips confessing his name.

who formerly were not a people, but now are a people of God, who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

or do you despise the riches of his goodness and forbearance and long suffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to a change of mind?

that I should be a servant of Christ Jesus to the nations, administering as a priest the gospel of God, that the offering of the nations may be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

But I exhort you by the Lord Jesus Christ, and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in prayers to God for me,

Therefore, having this ministry, as we have obtained mercy we faint not,

For the love of Christ constrains us, judging this, that if one died for all then were all dead;

We are embassadors therefore for Christ, as though God besought you by us; we pray you, for Christ, be reconciled to God.

And being also co-laborers we exhort you not to receive the grace of God in vain,??2 for he says, In an acceptable time I heard you, and in a day of salvation I helped you; behold, now is an acceptable time, behold, now is a day of salvation,??3 giving no offense in any thing, that the ministry may not be blamed,

but God who is rich in mercy, on account of his great love with which he loved us,??5 even when we were dead in sins he made us alive with Christ,??y grace are you saved,

according to my expectation and hope that I shall be ashamed in nothing, but with all boldness as always also now Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death.

If therefore there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort in love, if any participation of the Spirit, if any affections and compassions,

But if I am even poured out as a libation on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice and congratulate you all;

But I have all things and abound, I am fully supplied, having received from Epaphroditus the things from you, a perfume of good odor, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God.

FINALLY, therefore, brothers, we beseech and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, as you have received from us how you ought to walk and please God, that you abound still more.

for you also do the same to all the brothers in all Macedonia. But we exhort you, brothers, to abound still more,

And we beseech you, brothers, to know those who labor among you, and preside over you in the Lord and admonish you,

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour,

which [entrance] he consecrated for us a new and living way through the vail, that is his flesh,

And I beseech you, brothers, suffer the word of exhortation; for I have sent to you a letter in a few words.

For what glory is it if when you sin and are punished you bear it patiently? But if you do well and suffer and bear it patiently, [this deserves thanks], for it is acceptable to God.

For as you once disobeyed God, but now have obtained mercy by their disobedience,
