and through him to reconcile all things to himself by making peace through the blood of his cross -- through him, whether things on earth or things in heaven.

Reconciled

Not only this, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received this reconciliation.

But any sin offering from which some of its blood is brought into the Meeting Tent to make atonement in the sanctuary must not be eaten. It must be burned up in the fire.

Then the priests slaughtered them. They offered their blood as a sin offering on the altar to make atonement for all Israel, because the king had decreed that the burnt sacrifice and sin offering were for all Israel.
