If you are a Jew in name and are resting on the law and taking glory in God,

Or is God the God of the Jews only? Is he not the God of the nations also? Yes, of the nations also.

Hannah prayed: My heart rejoices in Jehovah. My horn (strength) (power) is exalted in Jehovah. I speak against (mock) my enemies because I rejoice in your salvation.

Be glad and find joy in Jehovah, you righteous people. Shout for joy all that are upright in heart.

Sing joyfully to Jehovah, O you righteous ones. Praise is becoming to the upright.

May my thoughts be pleasing to him. I will find joy in Jehovah.

Let Israel find joy in their creator. Let the people of Zion rejoice over their king.

I will rejoice greatly in Jehovah. I will exult in my God for he has clothed me with garments of salvation. He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

The fig tree will not flourish. There will be no fruit on the vines. The labor of the olive will fail and the fields will yield no food! The flock will be cut off from the fold and there will be no herd in the stalls.

Now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how is it that you turn back again to the weak and poor fundamental things? Do you want to slave for them all over again?

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faith,

Finally my brothers, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not a bother, but for you it is a safeguard.

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I say, rejoice!

You love him without seeing him. Though you do not see him, you believe in him. Full of glory, you rejoice greatly with indescribable joy.

He gave the right to become children of God to all who received him. Even to those who believe in his name.

This is the bread that comes down out of heaven that a man may eat of it and not die.

The cup of blessing we bless, is it not the sharing of the blood of Christ? The bread we break, is it not the sharing of the body of Christ?

You have accepted Christ Jesus as Lord. Now walk (live) in union with him.
