Paul a servant of God, and an Apostle of Jesus Christ, in things concerning the faith of God's elect, and the knowledge of the truth which is after godliness,

Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God,

If any teach otherwise, and consent not to sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is after godliness,

Who willeth all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

But, as I have told you, ye do not believe, because ye are not of my sheep.

And the Gentiles hearing it were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life, believed.

Paul an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother, to the church of God that is in Corinth, with all the saints that are in all Achaia:

For by grace ye are saved through faith; and this not of yourselves:

Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints who are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons,

That their hearts may be comforted, being knit together in love, even unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, unto the acknowledgment of the mystery of God,

But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren, beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to Salvation, thro' sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth.

that afford questions, and not godly edifying, which is through faith.

The mystery of godliness is the pillar and ground of the truth, and without controversy a great thing: God was manifested in the flesh, was justified by the spirit, seen by angels, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, taken up into glory.

But avoid foolish and unlearned questions, knowing that they beget strife:

apt to teach, patient of evil, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if haply God may give them repentance, to the acknowledging of the truth;

For the saving grace of God hath appeared to all men,

As his divine power hath given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, thro' the knowledge of him that hath called us by glory and virtue,

Seeing then all these things are dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

Whosoever denieth the Son, he hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son, hath the Father also.
