I took also my Loving Meek staff, and brake it, that I might disannul the covenant, which I made with all people.

I myself fed the slaughter sheep, and poor flock verily; and took unto me two staffs: the one I called 'Loving Meekness,' the other I called 'Woe.' And so I kept the sheep.

Thou hast broken the covenant of thy servant, and cast his crown to the ground.

Be not displeased, O LORD, for thy name's sake, forget not thy loving-kindness: Remember the throne of thine honour, break not the covenant that thou hast made with us.

For thus sayeth the LORD God: I should, by right, deal with thee, as thou hast done. Thou hast despised the oath, and broken the covenant.

'Tell the house of Israel, thus sayeth the LORD God: Behold, I will suspend my sanctuary: even the glory of your power, that pleasure of your eyes, and the thing that ye love: your sons and daughters whom ye have left, shall fall through the sword.

After these sixty two weeks, shall Christ be slain, and they shall have no pleasure in him. Then shall there come a people with the prince, and destroy the city and the Sanctuary: and his end shall come as the water flood. But the desolation shall continue till the end of the battle.

Then said he, "Call his name Loammi. For why? Ye are not my people, therefore will I not be yours.

And some spake of the temple, how it was garnished with goodly stones, and jewels. He said,

Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all be fulfilled.

and brought forth false witnesses which said, "This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place and the law,

For he testifieth, "Thou art a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek."

For in rebuking them he saith, "Behold the days will come, saith the Lord, and I will finish upon the house of Israel, and upon the house of Judah, a new testament;
