I am become as it were a monster unto many, but my sure trust is in thee.

But lo, as for me, and the children which the LORD hath given me: we are a token and a wonder in Israel, for the LORD of Hosts' sake, which dwelleth upon the hill of Zion.

Then said the LORD, "Whereas my servant Isaiah goeth naked and barefoot, it is a token and signifying of the thing that after three years shall come upon Egypt and Ethiopia.

Me thinketh that God hath set forth us, which are apostles, for the lowest of all: as it were, men appointed to death. For we are a gazingstock unto the world, and to the angels, and to men.

Tell them I am your show-token: like as I have done, so shall it happen unto you. Flit shall ye also, and go into captivity.

Thus Ezekiel is your show token. For look, as he hath done, so, when this cometh, ye shall do also: that ye may learn to know that I am the LORD God.'"

Behold now therefore, this is my servant whom I will keep to myself: mine elect; In whom my soul shall be pacified. I will give him my spirit, that he may show forth judgment and equity among the Gentiles.

And he said to me, "Thou art my servant O Israel, in whom I will be glorified."

Behold, my servant shall deal wisely, therefore shall he be magnified, exalted and greatly honored.

Because of the labour of his soul, he shall see and be satisfied. With his knowledge, he, being just, shall justify my servants: and that a great number. And he shall bear their iniquities.

I will raise up to them one only shepherd: even my servant David. He shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.

David my servant shall be their king, and they all shall have one shepherd only. They shall walk in my laws, and my commandments shall they both keep and fulfill.

Which, being in the shape of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God.
