For who has despised the day of small things? But these seven will be glad when they see the

plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel—these are the eyes of the Lord which range to and fro throughout the earth.”

For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His. You have acted foolishly in this. Indeed, from now on you will surely have wars.”

I will engrave

As a jeweler engraves a signet, you shall engrave the two stones according to the names of the sons of Israel; you shall set them in filigree settings of gold.

who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge.

being manifested that you are a letter of Christ,

cared for by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of

human hearts.

Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal, “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Everyone who names the name of the Lord is to abstain from wickedness.”

“In that day a fountain will be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for impurity.

Surely our griefs He Himself bore,
And our sorrows He carried;
Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken,

weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy place.

Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity
And passes over the rebellious act of the remnant of His possession?
He does not retain His anger forever,
Because He delights in unchanging love.

The next day he *saw Jesus coming to him and *said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by it having put to death the enmity.

and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.

For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

who does not need daily, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the sins of the people, because this He did once for all when He offered up Himself.

nor was it that He would offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the holy place year by year with blood that is not his own.

By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.
