Zephaniah 3:16

Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands be slack.

The next day, a crowd of people that were come to the feast, hearing that Jesus was on the road to Jerusalem, took branches of palm-trees,

Wherefore "strengthen your weak hands and your feeble knees.

Therefore, having by the divine favour such a ministry, I exert myself:

let us then not be weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap, if we be not tired.

Wherefore I desire that you be not dejected at the tribulations I am under for your sake, which are matter of glory to you.

for you should consider how he endured such opposition from sinners against himself, lest ye be tired out, and quite despond.

thou hast suffer'd, hast patience, for my name's sake thou hast laboured, and hast not fainted.
