הַגָּדִ֡י
hag·gā·ḏî
נִבְדְּל֣וּ
niḇ·də·lū
אֶל־
’el-
-
דָּוִיד֩
dā·wîḏ
לַמְצַ֨ד
lam·ṣaḏ
at the stronghold
מִדְבָּ֜רָה
miḏ·bā·rāh
in the wilderness
גִּבֹּרֵ֣י
gib·bō·rê
､ הַחַ֗יִל
ha·ḥa·yil,
of valor ､
אַנְשֵׁ֤י
’an·šê
צָבָא֙
ṣā·ḇā
､ לַמִּלְחָמָ֔ה
lam·mil·ḥā·māh,
עֹרְכֵ֥י
‘ō·rə·ḵê
צִנָּ֖ה
ṣin·nāh
､ וָרֹ֑מַח
wā·rō·maḥ;
and spear ､
וּפְנֵ֤י
ū·p̄ə·nê
and the faces
､ אַרְיֵה֙
’ar·yêh
of lions ､
פְּנֵיהֶ֔ם
pə·nê·hem,
וְכִצְבָאיִ֥ם
wə·ḵiṣ·ḇā·yim
and as gazelles
עַל־
‘al-
on
– הֶהָרִ֖ים
he·hā·rîm
the mountains –
. לְמַהֵֽר׃
lə·ma·hêr.
[were] as swift .
