and [shooting] arrows

יוֹדְעֵ֤י

בִינָה֙

ḇî·nāh

who had understanding

､ לַֽעִתִּ֔ים

la·‘it·tîm,

of the times ､

לָדַ֖עַת

lā·ḏa·‘aṯ

מַה־

mah-

– יַּעֲשֶׂ֣ה

ya·‘ă·śeh

ought to do –

יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל

yiś·rā·’êl;

רָאשֵׁיהֶ֣ם

rā·šê·hem

their chiefs were

– מָאתַ֔יִם

mā·ṯa·yim,

two hundred –

וְכָל־

wə·ḵāl

and all

אֲחֵיהֶ֖ם

’ă·ḥê·hem

their brothers were

עַל־

‘al-

at

. פִּיהֶֽם׃

pî·hem.

their command .

מִזְּבֻל֞וּן

miz·zə·ḇu·lūn

יוֹצְאֵ֣י

yō·wṣ·’ê

there were who went out

､ צָבָ֗א

ṣā·ḇā,

to battle ､

עֹרְכֵ֧י

‘ō·rə·ḵê

､ מִלְחָמָ֛ה

mil·ḥā·māh

in war ､

בְּכָל־

bə·ḵāl

with all

כְּלֵ֥י

kə·lê

､ מִלְחָמָ֖ה

mil·ḥā·māh

of war ､

חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים

ḥă·miš·šîm

､ אָ֑לֶף

’ā·lep̄;

– וְלַעֲדֹ֖ר

wə·la·‘ă·ḏōr

and who could keep ranks –

בְּלֹא־

bə·lō-

not

לֵ֥ב

lêḇ

of double heart

. וָלֵֽב׃

wā·lêḇ.

and stouthearted [men] .

וּמִנַּפְתָּלִ֖י

And of Naphtali

､ שָׂרִ֣ים

śā·rîm

אָ֑לֶף

’ā·lep̄;

וְעִמָּהֶם֙

wə·‘im·mā·hem

and with them

בְּצִנָּ֣ה

bə·ṣin·nāh

וַחֲנִ֔ית

wa·ḥă·nîṯ,

שְׁלֹשִׁ֥ים

šə·lō·šîm

וְשִׁבְעָ֖ה

wə·šiḇ·‘āh

able to keep formation

and the Gadites ､

וַחֲצִ֣י ׀

שֵׁ֣בֶט

šê·ḇeṭ

､ מְנַשֶּׁ֗ה

mə·naš·šeh,

of Manasseh ､

בְּכֹל֙

bə·ḵōl

with every [kind]

כְּלֵי֙

kə·lê

צְבָ֣א

ṣə·ḇā

of war

､ מִלְחָמָ֔ה

mil·ḥā·māh,

[armed for] battle ､

מֵאָ֥ה

mê·’āh

וְעֶשְׂרִ֖ים

wə·‘eś·rîm

. אָֽלֶף׃

’ā·lep̄.

אַנְשֵׁ֣י

בְּלֵבָ֤ב

with a heart

שָׁלֵם֙

בָּ֣אוּ

､ חֶבְר֔וֹנָה

ḥeḇ·rō·w·nāh,

to Hebron ､

לְהַמְלִ֥יךְ

lə·ham·lîḵ

אֶת־

’eṯ-

– יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל

הַקְּרֽוֹבִים־

those who were near to them

אֲ֠לֵיהֶם

from as far away as

עַד־

יִשָׂשכָ֨ר

､ וּזְבֻל֜וּן

ū·zə·ḇu·lūn

and Naphtali ､

וְנַפְתָּלִ֗י

wə·nap̄·tā·lî,

and were bringing

מְבִיאִ֣ים

mə·ḇî·’îm

､ לֶ֡חֶם

le·ḥem

on donkeys ､

､ בַּחֲמוֹרִ֣ים

ba·ḥă·mō·w·rîm

and camels ､

､ וּבַגְּמַלִּ֣ים

ū·ḇag·gə·mal·lîm

and on mules ､

､ וּבַפְּרָדִ֣ים ׀

ū·ḇap·pə·rā·ḏîm

and oxen ､

､ וּֽבַבָּקָ֡ר

ū·ḇab·bā·qār

and provisions of ､

､ מַאֲכָ֡ל

ma·’ă·ḵāl

קֶ֠מַח

qe·maḥ

-

､ דְּבֵלִ֨ים

də·ḇê·lîm

and cakes of figs ､

וְצִמּוּקִ֧ים

wə·ṣim·mū·qîm

and

､ וְיַֽיִן־

wə·ya·yin-

cakes of raisins ､

､ וְשֶׁ֛מֶן

wə·še·men

and wine ､

､ וּבָקָ֥ר

ū·ḇā·qār

and oil ､

､ וְצֹ֖אן

wə·ṣōn

and oxen ､

לָרֹ֑ב

lā·rōḇ;

כִּ֥י

kî

שִׂמְחָ֖ה

śim·ḥāh

[there was] joy

. בְּיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

bə·yiś·rā·’êl.
