וַיֹּ֨אמֶר

So said
דָּוִ֤יד
dā·wîḏ
אֶל־
’el-
to
יוֹאָב֙
yō·w·’āḇ
וְאֶל־
wə·’el-
and to
שָׂרֵ֣י
śā·rê
and the commanders
､ הָעָ֔ם
hā·‘ām,
of the troops ､
､ לְכ֗וּ
lə·ḵū,
go ､
סִפְרוּ֙
sip̄·rū
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל
yiś·rā·’êl,
מִבְּאֵ֥ר
mib·bə·’êr
שֶׁ֖בַע
še·ḇa‘
וְעַד־
wə·‘aḏ-
and to
– דָּ֑ן
dān;
Dan –
וְהָבִ֣יאוּ
wə·hā·ḇî·’ū
and bring
אֵלַ֔י
’ê·lay,
to me
וְאֵדְעָ֖ה
wə·’ê·ḏə·‘āh
that I may know [it]
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
. מִסְפָּרָֽם׃
mis·pā·rām.
the number of them .
