､ שֻׁלְחָנ֡וֹ

וּמוֹשַׁ֣ב

and the seating

､ עֲבָדָיו֩

‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw

of his servants ､

וּמַעֲמַ֨ד

and the service

[משרתו]

､ פָּֽרָשִׁ֑ים

pā·rā·šîm;

וַיַּנְחֵם֙

way·yan·ḥêm

and whom he stationed

בְּעָרֵ֣י

bə·‘ā·rê

､ הָרֶ֔כֶב

hā·re·ḵeḇ,

the chariot ､

וְעִם־

wə·‘im-

and with

הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ

ham·me·leḵ

the king

. בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

bî·rū·šā·lim.

וַיִּתֵּ֨ן

way·yit·tên

And made [as common]

הַמֶּ֧לֶךְ

ham·me·leḵ

the king

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

הַכֶּ֛סֶף

hak·ke·sep̄

בִּירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם

bî·rū·šā·lim

､ כָּאֲבָנִ֑ים

kā·’ă·ḇā·nîm;

as stones ､

וְאֵ֣ת

wə·’êṯ

and

הָאֲרָזִ֗ים

hā·’ă·rā·zîm,

נָתַ֛ן

nā·ṯan

כַּשִּׁקְמִ֥ים

kaš·šiq·mîm

as the sycamores

אֲשֶׁר־

’ă·šer-

､ בַּשְּׁפֵלָ֖ה

baš·šə·p̄ê·lāh

in the lowland ､

. לָרֹֽב׃

lā·rōḇ.

וּמוֹצָ֧א

ū·mō·w·ṣā

And had imported

הַסּוּסִ֛ים

has·sū·sîm

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

’ă·šer

לִשְׁלֹמֹ֖ה

liš·lō·mōh

מִמִּצְרָ֑יִם

mim·miṣ·rā·yim;

– וּמִקְוֵ֕ה

ū·miq·wêh

and Keveh –

סֹחֲרֵ֣י

sō·ḥă·rê

הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ

ham·me·leḵ,

of the king

יִקְח֥וּ

yiq·ḥū

מִקְוֵ֖ה

miq·wêh

. בִּמְחִֽיר׃

bim·ḥîr.

at the [current] price .

וַֽ֠תַּעֲלֶה

wat·ta·‘ă·leh

And that was imported

וַתֵּצֵ֨א

wat·tê·ṣê

and cost

מֶרְכָּבָ֤ה

mer·kā·ḇāh

מִמִּצְרַ֙יִם֙

mim·miṣ·ra·yim

בְּשֵׁ֣שׁ

bə·šêš

מֵא֣וֹת

mê·’ō·wṯ

､ כֶּ֔סֶף

ke·sep̄,

[shekels] of silver ､

וְס֖וּס

wə·sūs

and a horse

– בַּחֲמִשִּׁ֣ים

ba·ḥă·miš·šîm

וּמֵאָ֑ה

ū·mê·’āh;

וְ֠כֵן

wə·ḵên

and thus

לְכָל־

lə·ḵāl

to all

מַלְכֵ֧י

mal·ḵê

､ הַחִתִּ֛ים

ha·ḥit·tîm

of the Hittites ､

וּלְמַלְכֵ֥י

ū·lə·mal·ḵê

and the kings

､ אֲרָ֖ם

’ă·rām

of Syria ､

בְּיָדָ֥ם

bə·yā·ḏām

through their agents

. יֹצִֽאוּ׃

yō·ṣi·’ū.

they exported [them] .
