וַיְהִי֙
way·hî
And was
בַּדָּבָ֣ר
bad·dā·ḇār
הַזֶּ֔ה
haz·zeh,
לְחַטַּ֖את
lə·ḥaṭ·ṭaṯ
the sin
בֵּ֣ית
bêṯ
of the house
､ יָרָבְעָ֑ם
yā·rā·ḇə·‘ām;
of Jeroboam ､
､ וּלְהַכְחִיד֙
ū·lə·haḵ·ḥîḏ
so as to exterminate ､
וּלְהַשְׁמִ֔יד
ū·lə·haš·mîḏ,
and destroy [it]
מֵעַ֖ל
mê·‘al
פְּנֵ֥י
pə·nê
the face
. הָאֲדָמָֽה׃
hā·’ă·ḏā·māh.
of the earth .
