､ וַיְהִ֗י
way·hî,
And it came to pass ､
כִּשְׁמֹ֙עַ֙
kiš·mō·a‘
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
､ הַדָּבָ֣ר
had·dā·ḇār
הַזֶּ֔ה
haz·zeh,
וְה֥וּא
wə·hū
and as he
､ שֹׁתֶ֛ה
šō·ṯeh
ה֥וּא
hū
he
וְהַמְּלָכִ֖ים
wə·ham·mə·lā·ḵîm
and the kings
､ בַּסֻּכּ֑וֹת
bas·suk·kō·wṯ;
at the command post ､
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר
way·yō·mer
אֶל־
’el-
to
､ עֲבָדָיו֙
‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw
שִׂ֔ימוּ
śî·mū,
וַיָּשִׂ֖ימוּ
way·yā·śî·mū
עַל־
‘al-
. הָעִֽיר׃
hā·‘îr.
the city .
