And [some of] the Hebrews

the Jordan
אֶ֥רֶץ

to the land
גָּ֖ד

of Gad

and Gilead .
､ וְשָׁאוּל֙

And as for Saul ､
עוֹדֶ֣נּוּ

he [was] still
､ בַגִּלְגָּ֔ל

in Gilgal ､
וְכָל־

the people
חָרְד֥וּ

here to me

וְהַשְּׁלָמִ֑ים
wə·haš·šə·lā·mîm;
וַיַּ֖עַל

and he offered

as soon as he had finished
לְהַעֲל֣וֹת

､ הָעֹלָ֔ה

the burnt offering ､
､ וְהִנֵּ֥ה

that ､
שְׁמוּאֵ֖ל

came –

and went out

and the three [pronged]
､ קִלְּשׁ֖וֹן

forks ､

וּלְהַצִּ֖יב

and to set the points

וַחֲנִית֙

בְּיַ֣ד

in the hand
כָּל־
kāl-
of any
הָעָ֔ם

of the people
